Under the China-brokered pact, the alliance has agreed not to seize more junta bases and the regime will halt air and artillery strikes, sources said.
China said it will ‘take all necessary measures’ to protect its citizens after an artillery shell from Myanmar reportedly struck a town over the border, causing injuries.
